Introducing IKON Infra-Red Wi-Fi Heater Bars in Ecumenical White and Humble Black

We’d like you to meet our new IKON Infra-Red heater bar. Previously available in Humble Black, we have now also created it specifically in white due to demand from churches we have been visiting, the majority of which have white walls and want a heater that won’t look out of place.

Of course, the funny thing is we’ve had to visualise it on a stone wall because if we try and photograph it on a white wall you can’t really see it, it just merges in with the background.

Actually, as you can see it’s not brilliant white. Many venerable churches have interior walls that are not perhaps as pristine as they once were, so we’ve made the bar slightly ‘off-white’ or, indeed ‘ecumenical white’ to suit a multiplicity of religious circumstances and backdrops.

All IKON heater bars can be controlled through Wi-Fi using an App on a mobile phone, obviating the need for somebody having to attend the church to turn the heating on. As such they can be used individually and independently. As they supply instant direct heat they need not be turned on more than a short time in advance.

Ecumenical White and Humble Black IKON bars come in three different power ratings:

Humble Black bars are cheaper than Ecumenical White variations.

How Much Heat Do You Need?

Typically our Infra-Red heater bars give the following warmth coverage:

Typically the maximum figure would be for a bar hung around 2.8m high on a wall and angled down at 45°. Other ambient influences need to be considered – for example are there draughts though the space being heated, which can reduce the ‘sensory heat’ of congregants.

The width of naves varies considerably, but in a church where you could hang 3200W IKON bars either side of the nave we suggest you could happily cover a total width of 12 metres.
