Ancient or Modern, there is an Infra-Red Heating Solution for all Churches
The uniqueness of Churches, the vision of their architects through the years, the combination of complexities and simplicities, the contrast between humble and ostentatious, but always with an overarching common theme of worship, is one of the most wonderful things about religion. However churches can present a complexity of spaces that certainly doesn’t make heating them simple. It is very rarely that ‘one size fits all’ – but by using a blended strategy of different technologies and devices there is an Infra-Red heating solution for all churches.
Smart Programable Wi-Fi Technology
All of our Infra-Red heaters offer the facility of smart Wi-Fi programming that can be operated from an App on your mobile phone well before you ever need to leave the warmth of home. Being Smart saves time, but also saves energy and therefore saves money.
Broad Footprint IKON Infra-Red Bars

The most powerful Infra-Red heaters in our range, IKON Infra-Red Bars give the broadest heat coverage. Available in both Ecumenical White and Humble Black, they are normally wall mounted at a height of around 2.8m and angled down towards the floor on special brackets to provide broad coverage of the congregation in the nave.

IKON bars are available in a range of four different power ratings each of throws a progressively greater distance of heat. The most powerful offers a coverage of around 5m x 6m and will thus comfortably warm a nave around 10-12m wide.
Mounted IKON Bars

In churches, typically older and/or loftier ones, where wall adjacent wall space is not available, or in churches where there is a side aisle, we are working to produce trolley mounted IKON bars. The beauty of these will be that they do not need to interefere in any way with fabric of the building and can be wheeled away into storage when not in use. The stand can be custom designed to sympathise with the church architecture.
Pew-Back Infra-Red Heaters

Where traditional solid-back pews are a feature of the church, Pew-Back Infra-Red heaters are a really economical option. The are low-powered, providing a gentle warmth and, as they can be turned on and off individually on a pew-by-pew basis, there is no wasted heat.
New Hybrid Infar-Red / Convection Technology

We are delighted to introduce a brand new Infra-Red technology – the KORE hybrid heater panel. It combines both Infra-Red heating with convection heating, both of which functions can be used independently, or they can be used together. These heaters are perfect for side aisles, organ lofts, offices, toilets, kitchens, or common parts such as corridors in a big church. They can also come with remote controls, and can be free standing as well as wall-mounted, so they can be turned on and off as task heaters.
Plain and Simple Infra-Red Panels

The standard Infra-Red heating panel is the cheapest in the range and a work-horse of both a major heating strategy or for ‘cold-spot cover’ or task heating. In subsidiary spaces, such as small-to-medium-sized church halls or meeting rooms, these panels are ideally ceiling mounted. They are equally happy wall mounted and can also be free-standing.
Blackboard Panels – Ideal for Study Rooms, Offices and Kitchens
There are many places in many churches where signage, messaging and lists can be important. As such our Blackboard Infra-Red panels can be incredibly practical providing both direct heat and a conduit for communication.
Hexagonal Panels in Any Colour You Want

So at first site this is a bit of fun – then again there are many rooms in churches and church halls that are rented out where a bit of fun might make them more attractive and desirable. Our KORE Hexagonal panels can certainly brighten up the day whilst reducing heating costs and dialling up sustainability in these often forgotten spaces. Best of all they can come in any colour you choose.
Why not ask for a site visit to decide what Infra-Red solution might be best for you?
We offer a wide-range of Infra-Red heating solutions to suit all spaces and all churches. If you would like to know more get in touch and we can arrange a site visit. If that’s not practical and you have a fairly modern church, or one of simple proportions, we can normally make first recommendations from a floorplan of the church and some images of the space that give an idea of the dimensions and the ceiling height.
